The reason why LAA 321s have 6 fewer seats the LUS is because AA removed one row and tightened up the remaining rows to create an MCE section. 12DE are in that section. The legroom may have looked the same as the surrounding rows because that entire section is MCE. If you went back further you would notice the legroom is tighter back there.
