The return to standards revolves around whenever Hilton resumes substantive on property QA audits. I've been told that tentatively they might return in September (keep in mind that even when they do, auditors have hundreds of properties in their portfolios sometimes across more than one brand so it'll be a bit before every property gets a visit.) When that happens, that's when you should see the beginnings of more uniformity. Until that time each property (as everyone has been experiencing) will continue to do whatever is in their best financial interest without impunity.
