Well how 'bout that! 1975 was only 9 years later and things changed a lot more slowly back then. Who knows - maybe Aerolineas Vega ran that DC-3 down to the coast. I wish I'd been able to have flown on it but I was only a poor college student and needed the money for mescal and marijuana more.
Adding to my meager collection of flights aboard piston engine airliners are a couple of DC-3 flights - one with PBA between Miami and Naples back in 1986 and the other from a 2002 trip to New Zealand aboard Pionair from Te Anau to National Park airport outside Cromwell.
