Yeah but there are more early morning NYC - ATL flights that would be the OP a more reasonable 2H layover (split the difference with the MSP option) and put the OP on the A330 instead of 763 so worth considering if price is the same (which on some dates in August it is, other looks like ATL has moved to a higher fare bucket)
