I also think that stone crab claws taste great alone - joes seafood offers some weird mustard to go with them and i eschew it.
Good stuff. I like the mustard sauce with stone crab. With king crab, a nice drawn garlic butter. I think that goes back to the days when it was my go-to meal at Bob Chinn's! I also agree with you that most crab is great without anything.
