I am very pleased that I transferred miles into BA and I had enough for a ticket. During th Diners Club promo I transferred enouogh foor 3 club tickets (first time 2 years ago) then enough for another one last summer. My daughter decided she wanted to go to London this spring break. I could have bought coach on AA for $469. No award availabilty on AA. At BA it was wide open and easy to get two Business class seats for 75K each. We get flatbed seating. Business in AA would have been 90K with regular seating. If I were you I might consider it a good idea to figure out how to get more miles into BA. If they have the DC promo this summer, you can bet that I will be transferring some of my AA miles into BA. It was a tough call only because I am aiming for lifetime platinum with AA, but even so, I couldn't see spending $469 for coach tickets. BTW, I have never flown with BA so I have no earned miles with them.
