if you test positive or don’t make it past the questionnaire, are out SOL on the flight and hotel bookings?
Most hotels, at least on cash bookings, have 24 hour cancellations. Airlines have free cancellations, not sure what the time frame is. So getting your test as early as possible helps with these issues.
For our trip next week, we booked our hotel 8 or 10 months ago, flights 6 or so months ago. Our test is at T-72 hours, with results usually coming within 24 hours.
No real way to know how many have had to cancel last minute due to positive tests.
