It would be helpful if everyone that didn't have immediate need for a resolution would wait. Eventually, in most cases, the changes will be processed and your new itinerary viewable online. Even though changed you are not obligated to accept it.

The bigger problem is that we have no idea what the change is, so we have no idea if we need an immediate resolution. From personal experience (and I am unanimous in that), had I waited on a couple of the changes, I'd likely not have received my desired outcome. Examples? HNL/SFO turned into HNL/SEA/SFO. Desired outcome was since no nonstop into SFO, please change the SEA/SFO to SEA/OAK. SFO/HNL turned into SFO/SAN/HNL. Desired outcome was a better connection via LAX. While we're patiently waiting to find out just what AS has done with us, the plane we'd possibly rather be on is filling up.

There's no good reason why AS can't let us view our reservations with the UC/UN/WK/TK (etc.) segments (as appropriate) show just so we can see what we had and what AS proposes and is tentatively holding, even if we need to call to accept. This alone would save res agents' time when we call, as these agents first have to tell us what we could have already known.
