Do non-elites have to pay $ for using the call in line. Maybe that's why I am waiting.
My recent experience is the wait or callback delays are excessive. I called about once a week for the last 4 weeks. It wasn't unusual weather each week.
These calls were because of flight cancellations or changes by Alaska Airlines, the app said I had to call. As I posted in "What changed". The text or messaging has worked better than electing for a call back in a few hours.
Whomever is in charge of the customer service system should be aware of the data on the response times to callers.
Their phone system could suggest the text and on-line chat options. But as I mentioned, the app said I had to call.
