It's not normally done in the Philippines...I did something in MNL before, CX provided a personal escort through immigration, they didnt stamp my passport but took copies of my itineraries and sent me through security back to the departures level. I would expect the same procedure would be in place in all Philippine ports. Oh and I did coordinate with the airport staff before hand, and requested the ISM to send a message ahead as well.
