Way back when UA still served YYJ, I did YYJ-SFO and vv a couple of times a year (snuck in AC via YVR for the third), and that clocked in at about two miserable hours

This has been dubbed the Devil's Chariot for a reason

And as someone who has spent time on Devi's Chariot, I will disagree with my learned fellow posters and say that exit row DOES have an extra inch or two of legroom no matter what they claim. Not like a regular exit row of course, but still ....
