Maybe the top of the Mercer Street Parking Garage - but the Opera House might get in the way.
First Avenue Parking Garage would've worked, but it is closed due to construction on the Arena.

Kerry Park is still likely gonna be your best - it's 0.75 miles distance as the crow flies, is high up, and has an unobstructed view.
