Since its a red eye will there be a blanket and decent size pillow like the ones that are wrapped and nice as if it was international F? Is there a mattress pad also? I cant recall if 77W F Lax-Mia even had a mattress pad pre Covid. I flew this same route on the 77W day time 3 months ago and dont recall any bedding although being it was a day flight it wasnt a huge deal. Are they back to doing bedding now for all the 77W flights or just the red eye or not at all?
Also, what is the difference really between taking a 772 or 77W on this route right now b/c it is my understanding the 772 (even though it is domestic F not Flagship F like the 77W) is getting a printed menu with 4 entre options as well. So would just the FF check in & AC (and possibly bedding) be the only differences?
Thx

Unfortunately, nothing is guaranteed in terms of bedding due to how incredibly inconsistent AA is. I fly MIA LAX almost every week and every flight is different. Sometimes you find the smaller PE pillow and blanket in both F and J on this route, and other times you get the proper F/J large duvet and pillow. Sometimes you get menus, and other times you don't. Sometimes the F amenity kits aren't available and you are given the one from J. A lot of times you find that the actual entrees available don't match the menus at all.
So, to confirm, no mattress pad... you would just get the large Casper duvet and pillow on a good day.
I can also confirm that for all practical purposes, the 772 flights do get four entree choices as the 77W flights and the four entrees have been consistently offered on this route.
