Do I get AE q-miles for S class bookings on UA metal?

I have searched but I am in "slow motion" today and it has become quite painful to continue looking.

I am heading out for dinner and then have to run for a birthday get together. I will have to book something on Monday morning and I will gladly fly UA in E+ if it gets me the q-miles vs Tango on AC. I need 1,500 q-miles to pass 50k and get the threshold bonus (and this trip is far enough to do that) and I don't foresee anymore business travel this year so this is my last chance.

My AC options are Tango for $650 or Fun around $1,000. My UA S class is $629CDN. I'll stick to AC if S class doesn't earn q-miles.
