Just received reply from Chase Facebook page. They said, "the bonus that you will receive is always paid out in one to two billing cycles after your friend was approved".
Appears that I will need to be patient. I will come back and update if/when bonus is paid out.

UPDATE: The bonus was not paid out on my second statement, either. I contacted Chase via their Facebook page, sending them the web-link that was included in the original award email. They replied that they "escalated it to their Marketing Team for research". The points were awarded the following day.
(I always find it amusing that the Facebook and Twitter Teams of so many companies can accomplish Customer-Service tasks that direct contact with the Customer Service Team could not. Why don't they move those folks to the Customer Service Team?)
