The short answer to this is "no, the 6620 is not just an EDGE enabled 6600". People should not proceed on the assumption that because the 6600 works with iSync that the 6620 will.
The long answer is that the 6620 uses a version of the Series 60 software that no longer supports mRouter access via the BT Serial Port Profile. This is the method by which iSync works, as at version 1.5 anyway. This is also the reason that the Nokia 7610 does not work with iSync.
