When you look at the 2 pictures, you even wonder if it is the same building (if the old building has been destroyed and rebuilt) because the structural transformations are quite significant.

Not sure I would be enticed back with this review but I am no fan of Mercure (never having had a good stay). But I would do it to stop my points expiring.
I typically enjoy Mercure hotels when they have been renovated. Much more than a typical Novotel (with some exceptions of course).
