we stayed there in spring 2019. The renovation was already finalized back then. I chose the hotel mainly due to the great location (walking distance to most of the main spots in the city).
I also had to ask for the drink vouchers and no further privileges were granted for me as a Platinum member.
Breakfast buffet was great with many hot choices and in particular also local spanish food
