I have no problem emailing the hotel to ask but I was curious if there was a standard WOH policy on this particular situation or if it’s more of a property specific issue.

One more question, if I arrive early as a Globalist on an award stay (say 11am) and I want to park my car at the hotel and leave my bags, if my room is not ready would I be charged for parking that day since technically I haven’t checked in yet?

any feedback would be welcome, thanks everyone!
In todays times Id Self park. The valets dont wear gloves or new ones every time they go into a car nor wipe them down, so its very possible that the car they just got out of had a driver who didnt know they were positive for C-19 and the valet person picked it up on their hands and now spread it to your car

It seems most hotels are using C-19 as the reason that they cut everything to the bone (where it saves them $$) but yet nothing changed with Valet where it cost them more $$, eg new gloves everytime a valet goes into a different car or at least offer wipes

I find most hotels charge per night for parking and not a 24 hr period (some may). And most hotels already know what room you will be in, so you drop the car with valet and eventualy they tag it with your room number

Dont know the answer to this but if a Globalist on an award stay and the hotel doesnt own the parking or cant charge it to your room is it still comped?
