I was originally hoping to book the GW in Maui, but no standard award nights to be had so this is the back up for 196k HH.
It's a little dated-looking, and I don't think that the restaurant situation has recovered, but it's still a favorite for my wife and I. We got all of our "touristing" out of the way in our first couple of trips to the Big Island, and now we are happy to walk the grounds, sit next to the pool, sit next to the lagoon, grab a drink at the cantina, etc
