My upcoming reservation (March 26-April 3) was just canceled due to the hotel closing on Feb 1, 2021. I really liked this NYC hotel- good locations, decent rates, and nice (pre-COVID) lounge. I hope it reopens in the future.
Don't like the Hyatt transfer option, I don't have any status with Hyatt and had a very low long-term rate of $72 a night.

Sorry you won't get to stay here. We've got at least 20 stays there under our belts, next one is Memorial Day weekend. I called the number as we haven't heard from them about our reservations, they are contacting folks as dates approach, and they intend to reopen in the future. Current hope is in May, so we will keep our reservations for now, but probably make backup plans for other Bonvoy properties and we have no history with Hyatt.
