The wonderful readers on this forum recently helped me decide to spend a night at the Hyatt Regency Seattle after a week of hiking in Olympic National Park. We have now decided to extend our trip and spend 2 nights in Seattle. Being that I am a hotel geek and love checking out new properties, I’m thinking of booking the 2nd night at the Grand Hyatt as it seems to be only a block away from the Hyatt Regency? I should mention that I am recently a Globalist and think I should receive pretty comparable perks at both properties (in terms of lounge access), but please let me know if you have strong feelings about one hotel over the other.

Also should mention that I booked my night at the Regency with a free night certificate. If I decide to stay for a second night there it would probably be on points, do I need to make a separate reservation or is there a way to modify my existing reservation?
