This prompted me to remind everyone that the new security procedures are now operative at DME, meaning EVERYONE has to take off their shoes, belt etc., no questions or exceptions. There are chairs and it's tolerably comfortable, but it does slow things down.

Best thing nowadays is to fly with hand baggage only, do OLCI and PYOBP and head straight for the lounge. At boarding time, unless you have a lot of hand baggage and actually need a bit more space in the lockers, wait in the lounge until everyone else has boarded.
