I've seen a few hotels during COVID "close" but still accept new bookings and just transfer them to sister hotels owned by the same company so rather than have 2+ nearly empty hotels, you have 1 nearly full and a bunch of closed hotels. Wonder if that is what is going on here?

And the official property page at Marriott.com is still up. Usually those get pulled down as soon as a property departs:
