At first I though that for me the credits don't post with the merchant name because it just said Amex PayPal credit, but I obviously knew what each credit was for by looking at the amount. However, when I clicked into and expanded the credit transaction it showed the merchant name. So there is no way to confuse what you got a credit for (for those still awaiting early February credits and continuing to use the monthly benefit).
