Some more notes about my (still-emerging) experience:

-If I had read this whole thread, I would have saved myself plenty of time and effort and likely some cold hard cash. FT for the win!

-I'm really puzzled that the State of Hawaii doesn't put the relevant info on a hawaii.gov web page. There are so many third-party pages around with ambiguous info that I was trying to only go to hawaii.gov pages, but most of those are out of date. The legit page, as best I can tell, is:
https://hawaiicovid19.com/travel-partners/

-Walgreens does NOT offer the rapid test in California as noted in this thread. Nowhere in the state. Not sure why. Their stated time for a regular test is 3-5 days, which just leaves open the possibility of a problem.

-Clarity @ LAX seems to have done the trick for me. Scheduled my appointments as we were driving over to LAX (after a Walgreens experience that would possibly result in results being back after our flight). Plenty of options open for times. We chose Terminal 2, not realizing that at Terminal 6, they do a rapid test for the same price (we were told this by the Clarity tech). I was surprised Clarity didn't check our IDs as Walgreens had. Anyway, we did get quite a brain-scratcher, and we went on our way. I kept wondering why they wouldn't just bring all of their samples over to Terminal 6 at the end of the day for processing, and that may be what they did. We had results in about 5 hours.

-I had chosen Clarity's "Hawaii" option. But the results docs we got were not the Hawaii ones and they wouldn't process at travel.hawaii.gov automatically. About 12 hours after I uploaded them, I asked Clarity if they could give me the Hawaii-specific ones. They were fast and efficient and got me those forms, which uploaded and verified immediately.

-I had been at OAK earlier in the day and had I known then what I know now, I would have gone to that nearby facility and spent $20 instead of $125 at Clarity.

-Finally, I saw a lot of questions about uploading a photo of yourself to travel.hawaii.gov earlier in this thread. Has that option been removed? I'm happy to provide this if it'll expedite my experience in OGG, but I just cannot find it. Any help would be appreciated here.
