Am I correct thinking the whole itinerary is considered a Covered Trip even though it is booked on a mix of airlines and paid/award tickets. I looked through the terms of coverage and I didn’t see any specific booking requirement (I.e. must book round trip ticket or something like that).
Yes, you are correct. It doesn't matter if it's a round-trip ticket or a series of one-ways, as long as you are scheduled to return to your place of residence in the timeframe prescribed.
