Do you have any reference sources for that? I am not trying to argue/dispute your statement, just curious as we travel frequently to sub-saharan Africa. UA's nonstop service between EWR and JNB presents a very good value for folks like us (round trip between ORD and JNB via EWR is below $3000 in business).
