Yesterday we went to
Tandem, which I firmly believe to be the best bakery in the country. We got the breakfast sandwich on a biscuit with local sausage (which I suspect has close to a stick of butter in it) and the cherry pastry thing that was essentially a croissant with cherries and mmmmmmmmm. And two chocolate chip cookies.
Today I made bacon and eggs for breakfast, and a Home Chef beta box we got. TOnight's recipe was salmon with a compote of sauteed cherry tomatoes, garlic, and green onion; gemelli pasta in a cream and spinach sauce, and parmesan cheese toast.
