Just one minor point... Consecutive rentals or rentals with a duration greater than say 30 days that the rental company decides should be broken up into separate contracts may be considered as a single rental and denied coverage from the insurance company.
I often rent for months at a time and the contracts are broken into monthly increments. I ask the agency to swap out cars at this point so it becomes more apparent that it is not the same rental. Don't know yet if that would be pertinent in an insurance claim denial.
