I did ask for a receipt after everything was checked ( interior , exterior, fuel gauge) , their answer was that everything was all set.
The more I think about it , the more it looks like a typical franchise bait and switch scheme. Probably most people over the years would not bother to investigate 50-80$ surcharge on top of their reservation...
