I do challenge but it’s an ongoing nuisance to challenge every time. It’s always a discussion followed by a discussion with the Manager and you get into the occupancy rate and not guaranteed, etc. I’m currently staying the night at the Blue Mountain Westin and did not happen. Spoke to the Manager and had the discussion with this being a Resort and occupancy rate is high. Like pulling teeth and got a checkout of 1pm. I hardly ever request late checkout when on business but when travelling with the family a nice to have but has not been easy to get.
