I just checked the seat map for a 333 flight I just booked in December. Shows the new configuration, so it seems like AC have quietly discontinued the Classic Pods and, well, that entire cabin. Will miss it. But on the bright side, the 333 has become a desirable plane, especially for those in PY. Hopefully AC retrofit the 777s/787s with the new product.
What new product are you referring to? The 777/787 fleet have the Dream cabin which is what the A330's are getting. And yes, all of the A330's presently in service have the new cabin (2 frames). 931-933 are stored (original cabin) and 935-939 are being refurbished. The SQ birds are all either refurbished, flying in cargo configuration, or being refurbished. It seems likely that the refurbished frames will be ones returned to service first.
