I've had this happen with AMEX too. IME when you change your closing/statement date they always do it by lengthening the current or next billing cycle, never by shortening the current one.
My billing cycles on all my chase cards end early in the month. This month my CSR ended on the third and my Chase freedom unlimied ended on the fourth.
I would love my april billing cycle to end around the 20th so I can have the most points available to maximize PYB and be able to make the charges and have them post before 4/30 so I can use the points.
So if I'm reading these posts correctly if I change the billing date from the 3rd to the 20th before the end of March my April statement will closed on april 20th not May 20 correct?
