Another Quick Dallas Turn
After our weekend skiing I had to stay at the house and get some work done while the GF got a Monday run in before we packed up and headed off to DIA. Little to no traffic on Monday afternoon and the weather was cooperating so we made good time over to the airport. The dirty road on the way up sure did a number on the rental car though.
After gassing up the car we took the shuttle to the terminal and had another easy check in process. The Centurion Lounge is still closing at but that’s hopefully changing soon. With no Centurion access, we just grabbed some food in the gate area and waited for our flight to board.

Another uneventful WN flight and we were back home where Gumbo was waiting to greet us. Dallas had finally thawed out from the great freeze of 2021 and thankfully all of our pipes survived unscathed. As usual, a week and a half at home and we were headed back off to Denver, this time to try and ski Vail again.
Southwest Airlines
WN 44
DAL-DEN (Dallas Love Field - Denver International)
Seat: 11C (Economy)
B737-700 (N7843A)
Scheduled: 7:00p-8:00p
Actual: 6:58p-8:03p
Love Field is finally starting to see more traffic which is allowing the restaurants to stay open later. Thankfully we were able to avoid Cantina Laredo this time and instead grabbed some Chick-fil-A before boarding the familiar WN 44 to Denver, this time on a Thursday. Even though we were B2 and B3 we still were able to grab the two seat exit row seats which was nice since the flight was almost completely full. Upon arrival in Denver we headed off to National where the Executive Aisle was as full as I’ve seen it all winter. Unfortunately there was nothing of note so we grabbed a Ford Fusion Titanium with 17k on it and we’ll take our friends Subaru when we all head up to Vail tonight.
