I guess with a 2% CB card, I would clear $8 for every $200 spent. If I had not reached my yearly spend limit on my Chase Cash card, I would earn 5 UR points or 1000 points, conservatively worth $10 if used correctly.
However, until my year renews, Chase is out of the running. However, we do shop at Costco, but can use the 2% CB card there as well, avoiding an unnecessary middle step (and avoiding prying rodent eyes as well).
But I am always up for a new angle so if there is one, you have at least one interested reader

There are certain 5x and 5% CCs at office supply stores. BofA biz cash CC has 3%. If you have BofA biz preferred rewards, then you get multipliers. Just need to do some research.
Some people max them out. But I do not. But again, 5% still better than some 2% CCs we have been using for non-category spending. But clearly not good for the HTs.
Also, Staples sells other GCs, like Lowes and Amazons. So you get 5x or 5% for those too. Could be better than Amazon 5% on its own.
