They opened for reservations on Feb 19th and by that Monday parts of festive was sold out
This year they will not have a minimum stay which is a big deal because festive on Pls is normally 7-10 nights
Their target clients are from the NY area.
Hotel rooms will be on floors 1-9 whereas Residences will be on floor 10 & 11 as well as 2 other towers.
Entry level rooms off season generally will be $650 and in season $1200/nt
They are renovated the dock to serve as a boardwalk like experience. They will also have their own 50 person catamaran .
The GM came from another Marriott property but waiting to hear more about them.
The casino is not expected to open until later in the fall as they are still going through license process.
You can expect this hotel to be popular with Bonvoy members as well as corporate incentives, weddings, group of guys looking to gamble in the sunshine.
I think of it as a piece of Miami Beach on the island of Turks & Caicos.

for anyone that has been to Turks & Caicos , it does not fit in whatsoever.
I think they think "if you build it, they will come".

In another 3-4 weeks, Residences Festive inventory will become available.
With the waiver of the minimum stay, expect it to sell out quickly.
Great value for festive travel.
Air can be booked now and is priced well and has good availability.
Most airlines if you book by end of March, are still waiving change fees.
