Ford Ecosport is the worst and the oldest mode (came out in 2012 in India, later in the US) in that class. All the other cars like the Nissan Kicks, Mazda CX-30, Hyundai Kona, Kia Celtos etc... are much newer and way better vehicles than the Ford.
I just returned an Ecosport, and it's made in India according to the VIN. It might be slow and tiny but at least National tends to order them in Titanium trim with leather, blind spot, sunroof, SXM, and a decent stereo. I'll take that over a base Nissan or Hyundai/Kia. But the CX-30 is by far the best car in that class (although national classifies the CX-30 as an IFAR, same as CX-5, RAV4, etc)
