I stayed at the hotel. There was no quarantine.
Even if they were truly sold out, they must have had at least one late arrival. That would have allowed me to stay until 4pm without negatively affecting anyone.
Or, they could have cleaned my room after 4 pm and told one person that their room would be available at 5pm. I have had that happen to me in several countries.
