understood. I've always received comp upgrades without even asking, even letting me stay until 18:00 checkout. Loved the lounge as well. I will say you do get some good views at the Marriott Doha on the other side of the bay with downtown, but generally don't stay there as its not as close to West Bay and everything there, including the W and dinner options there!

Haven't had the chance to try the JW yet, and given how strict Qatar is on entry, probably not anytime soon.
