Of the brands that Flyertalkers are typically interested in for miles and points value? I’d say it’s close enough to just say none of them for regular rooms. You really need to book junior suites and above to get that sort of open feel, and even then it’s not guaranteed. A lot of corner rooms do have a little extra space, and it’s typically laid out in a way where they can’t jam any more furniture in it, The good suites have additional window space along the exterior walls, and aren’t just a deeper room like a Hyatt Place or Embassy Suites.

As a one-off, the suites at the Andaz Hollywood are typically one largish room with an alcove for the bed.

I’d say just do some careful research before you book. Virtually any decent hotel has already got tons of photo and video trip reports written about it, and done without the optimistic wide-angle lenses and hidden additional lighting common to real estate photography.
