Has anyone stayed here since the change? I never stayed at the Shangri La, but frequented the piano bar which was excellent. Is this still here?

I had heard that the lounge was one of the best in Doha. Is this still the case? Do they serve food all day, can it do for an actual meal (rather than just canapés)?

I've stayed at the marriott city center that is basically next door and it is by far the worst Doha hotel out of the 10 or so I've stayed in.

Got a good thing going at the Westin, but this would be a lot more convenient and a big fan of the piano bar.

Got a 14 day trip coming up, so want to make the right choice.
