We are staying here next week and got the email about the renovation just two weeks ago. Needless to say, I was not happy to hear of the closure to the Brisas restaurant and Brisas pool especially since we booked a beach area casita suite to be near both. However I have to say that the hotel management made things right by reducing our nightly rate by 20% and a couple other perks. So essentially we’re staying in a beach area suite for the price of their least expensive room.
