Thought I'd resurrect an old topic rather than start a new one. Having come in from DME to LHR last night, I was really impressed with the lounge at DME - very comfortable, good selection of nibbles, beer on tap ( ^ ), PC's with web access which actually runs at a useful speed (something for LHR/LGW to strive for.... ), and a fairly contemporary and stylish decor. Beats some of the other down route lounges on the network hands down IMHO

Of course the ensuing scrum when the entire lounge and it's luggage decided it was time to descend on the A320 at gate 4 was not pretty - for once in my life, I wish BA would enforce carry-on limits. Apparently there were over 100 of us in J, and it seemed that pretty much everyone other than me (where's the angelic halo smilie when you need it???? ) was carrying at least 3 overweight and oversized bags.........
