Follow up to my previous post:
Today, March 2, 2021, at 9:49 AM CST I called the Platinum Elite number, (800) 228-2100, and spoke with Sherry.
Sherry said the hotel might have been full, to which I replied, "What is my compensation when Marriott does not fulfill its published benefits?" Sherry said she did not know.
I add, Sherry did not care.
I asked for an email address for customer care, so she gave me

Is there a dedicated Platinum Elite email address?
