It is definitely not in the guests' best interest to let rogue properties so abruptly and casually Bonv°y their loyal program participants in this manner.

I stayed at
TownePlace Suites Jackson Ridgeland/The Township at Colony Park the night of February 23 and departed February 24.
I requested 4 pm checkout. They refused, and offered 12 pm. I asked them to look at my account and verify that they could see that I am Platinum and that Marriott states:
4 p.m. Late Checkout
Guaranteed 4 p.m. late checkout, subject to availability at resort and convention hotels.
The front desk person looked at my booking and then said they could do 12:30 pm at the latest, because the hotel was fully booked.
I explained my personal situation, that I had flown from Texas to Mississippi to transport my 87-year-old post-Covid mother from a Rehabilitation Center to a Nursing Home in a certain time frame and that I could not be back to the hotel until at least 2 pm. My only other option was checking out before 11 am, which I was forced to do.
I understand that my personal situation is irrelevant.
