Well I am trying to fly NRT-SIN around 20 Dec but found out that M fares (and most other cheapy classes) are zeroed out on Sabre for JL711. It seems that they have simply chosen to block out all but full Y/B/H fares for all of mid-late December until January 5. Is this an annual habit for JL? Why block out only the evening flight and not the morning/noon flights on the same route?
I am assuming that closer to the dates the M fares will be released...?
It's one of the peak seasons for Japanese travel. These dates coincide with end of school(term 2) and the New Year holidays which everything more or less shuts from the 30th to the 3rd. The 6th marks the beginning of the 3rd school term in most places. Prices will become more expensive ex-Japan the closer you get to New Years and the few days after.
This happens every year and all Japanese and Foreign airlines like to scalp the public during this time , thus no cheap(or very few )seats available. So take the early flights that have the space available at the price you are willing to pay.....
