Great benefit here. If you consider even the cheapest cell phone insurance plans out there with higher deductibles I think you are REALLY offsetting the AF for the cards and this is just the cherry on top for me justifying to keep the Personal Platinum.
I have never paid or considered paying for a cell phone insurance plan, and In 25 years of cellphone usage I have never lost or broken a cellphone. So for me this isn’t really a benefit I expect to use.
That said, I will still move my phone’s Fi charges to the Plat card. I don’t think I have a card where the spend earns significantly more than 1 MR per dollar.
