OT, not to mention the surprise if you end up in Anacostia vs. right over Rock Creek from Georgetown. When I started using the METRO alone as a kid, my dad had me go over an actual city map so I knew where NE/NW/SE/SW were so I wouldn't end up in an absolutely terrible part of town (by accident anyways...I did like to explore....). Of course, there were plenty of bad areas in NW as well....Logan Circle, Chinatown....

At least these 3 properties are close, so the extra cab fare isn't as bad, say, as when someone goes to 26th & Penn SE instead of 26th & Penn NW...
