It was a bravura performance but really quite embarrassing. They were difficult days when club lounge access wasn't routinely offered to Royal Ambassadors: but it seemed a tad
infra dig to browbeat reception staff into giving in.

Those suites are delightful.... except for the bathrooms: I've been saying there since the turn of the century, and the bathrooms were dated then.
But you'll know when you've made it (in Semiramis terms
) when they allocate a presidential suite to you.
